Zu-koh (Rubbing Incense) is an aromatic powder often used for purification rituals by Buddhist practitioners. Originating from India, it is a fragrant blend of natural ingredients, including herbs, spices, and resins such as sandalwood, aloeswood, cinnamon, cloves that is usually applied directly on hands, head and sometimes sprinkled on the space of practice for cleansing.
In collaboration with Kyarazen, a master artisan of incense, we have created a traditional zukoh powder blend that promotes tranquility and a mindful state when gently and ritualistically rubbed onto the hands or pulse points of the practitioner, before commencing actual practice.
